Carrie Weldon is a gestural abstractionist painter based in Prescott, Arizona, known for her large-scale expressionist works rich in texture and vibrant color.
For more than two decades, she has cultivated her signature style—Concrete Abstract—a fusion of acrylic, oil, and proprietary mixed-media techniques on wood. Defined by spontaneity and expressive movement, her paintings carry a dynamic energy that commands attention in both residential and commercial spaces.
A full-time painter for the past five years, Carrie is steadily expanding her presence in the art world. Her work is not derivative, so there are no obvious comparisons. A respected Prescott art mentor recently remarked that she is “driving the bus” for art in the region—a testament to her influence and momentum.
Carrie is currently in discussions with galleries in Las Vegas, Sedona and Honolulu, with a vision of partnering with a premier gallery in the American Southwest.
"Painting is one of the most important aspects of my life. Every painting I do has a part of me in it. I hope you are able to see that. Please enjoy!"
