Painting of the Week: "Electric heART"
"Electric heART" is my newest piece and one of the most dynamic and eye-popping paintings I have ever done!
This heART is about energy, hope, and the rush of feeling something deeply. It is about choosing staying open - even when life is loud, busy, fast or unpredictable.
The layered color and expressive marks show how emotions overlap—joy, fear, courage, and desire. It’s a piece that feels alive and unapologetically honest.

About the Artist
Carrie Weldon is an emerging abstract painter based in Prescott, Arizona. She is known for her large-scale expressionist works rich in texture and vibrant color.
Carrie has cultivated her signature style, Concrete Abstract, a fusion of acrylic, oil, and proprietary mixed-media techniques on wood. Defined by her eye-popping use of normally unrelated colors, her paintings carry an edge - an energy that commands attention in both residential and commercial spaces. The first thing you'll notice when you enter a room will be the Carrie Weldon painting on the wall!
A full-time painter for over five years, Carrie is steadily expanding her presence in the art world. Her work is not derivative, so there are no obvious comparisons.
Carrie's paintings have been on display at various galleries and locations in Prescott, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Sedona, and she is currently in discussions with major galleries in Las Vegas and Honolulu, Hawaii.
